We’re currently in the process of designing the book covers for Maria Alberta Menéres collection, one of the most known and respected Portuguese childhood authors. This new collection, run by Porto Editora, aims to follow the accessible aspect of the pocket book edition of Ulisses, besides, simultaneously, acquiring sophistication and vigor. Ulisses is part of the Portuguese “National Reading Plan” — recommended for the 6th grade — and a bestseller. In addition to the new hardcover support, the design went through an iconographic use of the illustration and a preponderant relationship of the title with it, in order to obtain a series of long lasting and essential objects on the bookshelf of any family.
