This project consists of a three dimensional arrow installation at Cidade Mais, a sustainability and environment festival held in the gardens of Palácio de Cristal, in Porto. It was commissioned to signalize a set of initiatives supported by Lipor, Porto’s area waste management association. Our scope of our work encompassed all the design and had the purpose of creating a sturdy piece — to be displayed outdoors — coupled with ease of movement through the gardens, indicating Bordalo II’s sculpture, a theatrical performance and a concert of recycled instruments. The copy, on the faces of the arrow, links the actions on the ground with Lipor’s main principles, which can be read: “This is a Lipor initiative. As is Waste Management, Circular Economy and Carbon Reduction”.
